Fried by the San Fernando Valley heat, smoldering from the current political climate and just plain pissed off. This first effort put forth by two working class guys from Los Angeles finds itself as both a nod to the native founders of the genre and with feet planted firmly towards the future. Their brand of punk rock is honest, brutal and passionate. They combine alternative song structures, progressive riffs, and blinding speed to create a sound that is both addictive and punishing. Wearing their heart on their sleeve, their lyrics address the doubt of modern daily life with a tinge of introspective paranoia. The Lungs will open your eyes, but heed their warning… you may not like what you see.
